My Nurse Next Door is a website hosted by Ascend Nurse Consulting. We are a team of veteran nurses who are passionate about our communities and helping create healthier communities. We are eager to help community members with their healthcare needs. We strive to provide meaningful articles and posts that educate, intrigue, and stimulate community members to improve their health. We recognize our healthcare system is flawed (to say the very least). My Nurse Next Door was created to help fill those areas where healthcare providers and facilities may fall short, especially in education. Most of us had some health class in high school if we were lucky, but unless you went into the healthcare field, you may not have learned anymore about human health. Thank goodness the internet is available to typically answer health questions we may have. Sometimes though, even “Dr. Google” is too much and doesn’t make sense. So, what is one to do? Most will call a nurse in their family or a friend who may be a nurse or work in some area of healthcare. This is where we come in…What happens when you don’t have a brother who is in healthcare or a sister who is a nurse? What do you do when you have a “simple” question and cannot get a call back from your doctor’s office? What if you don’t have that “Special contact” at the local hospital or doctor’s office? Look no further, we are here for you. We are here to reliably answer questions and provide you with up-to-date information and guidance. Our site offers you with information in a way you can best understand. Our nurses can provide health coaching to help you reach your goals to improve your health. We can answer your questions directly or to the group. Our team can help find community resources to meet the needs you have. We can work as an essential part of your healthcare team. We also provide post-surgical concierge services to assist in your recovery as well as avoid post-surgery complications. Ascend Nurse Consulting also offers administrative consulting for attorneys by our Legal Nurse consultants.
